English and Me :o

Approaching the English language was not easy, because the teachers of the school did not teach well. Except teacher Maria Paz, she taught me English for the last two years on average, with her if you could learn English, she made us practice a lot. Also, I had classes with her four times a week. 

  After leaving school, I spent a year without practicing anything and when I entered University, I realized that I forgot to conjugate the verbs. I find it hard to make sentences in English...

 My experience with the English language at the University is good, but it is not the best. 

      Nothing beats my school teacher, it's really good. I do not mean that the professors of the University are bad teachers, on the contrary, they are very good teachers, however I feel that the University's English program is not very striking. 

      This is difficult, it is difficult for teachers to do English in an attractive way for students, because in the University it is different from school, here the responsibilities in the subjects are much more, then English is set aside and little is taken attention to the field, which generates refusal to practice English outside the classroom, because it takes time and that time is invested in other subjects. 

  So improving the attractiveness of English at university is difficult, I do not know how to achieve it. 

   About the Blogs, I feel that they are very helpful, because when writing in English the person improves his writing, since he realizes his mistakes and corrects them.

 It have helped me a lot, I feel that every time, thanks to blogs, I write a little better in English, my ideas are sorted by writing them. 

   Outside the University, I use English in low intensity, limited to a couple of words, to the "duolingo" game and to learn the lyrics and sing the songs in English that I like.

Changes to my study Program

  I am student of Public Administration in the Universidad de Chile. This career is located in the Escuela de Gobierno y Gestión Pública (EGGP).

  I like student I think that the career and the infrastructure are failure. 

                   For example, I believe and I feel that the career have many subjects, I think that few subjects could be grouped and others removed, because some of it are very similar in its contents, so if we group some and get others out we would reduce the academic load and with this, the students will not feel so stressed and they may have more time to go out, entertain, spend time with the friends and/or with them families, study, among others.

                   In addition, I consider that the career have others lack. I allude to the teachers, because some of them do not know how to dictate class. 

           

                       They sometimes going to class angry, or without energy, only read the slide, teach badly, they get upset if they receive any criticism without wanting to change their way of being, etc.
  Although the students  carry out a teacher survey, these bad teachers continue to work in this career, so the students. So we like the students feel that our opinion does matter to the  academics, therefore they  do not take into account the students.

 About the infrastructure this is not appropriate for students disabled, because it not have elevator, bathrooms for the disabled.

This situation limits people with disabilities who want to join the race. This is a strong criticism of the little inclusivity that exists in the University of Chile.

My summer holidays !

In my summer holidays I would like visit:

• ·       The amusement park, Fantasilandia, before that change of place.  

This amusement park is awesome, because It have a lot of attractions, a roller coaster, game with water, launch, fast food,etc. But the attraction that I liked most is the “raptor” and “boomerang”.

   

• ·         The museum that I don´t meet or I did not visit a long time ago, like as

- “MIM” interactive museum viewpoint. This museum has many fun and scientific attractions. In addition, It have a park with large green areas. 

 The one I like the most is the bed of nails and giant bubbles

 - Natural history museum in Valparaiso, because I never go here and I belive that is very beautiful ( apparently in photos)

- National Aeronautic and Space Museum, because I don´t meet it and I've always wanted to go.

I would also like to visit the beaches, I wish I could go to the serene, because I love that city and its landscapes.

I would like to go out with my friends, because for studying I have not come out with any. I would also like to go for a walk with my family, especially with my nephew, dedicate the time that I could not

I like to enjoy walks with friends, family and also alone. however, this summer I prefer to spend these activities in the company of the people I love and share beautiful memories with them

Obesity is a disease

“Is Obesity a Disease?”

The Obesity can be a disease and this can be cause for different reason. Its causes are hormonal, genetic or reside in the brain (its reward system or the circuitry that underlies habit, perception of portion size, the choice of food, etc.) is often difficult to sort out."

But for the other professional the obesity is not a disease, because “Obesity is a preventable risk factor for other diseases and conditions, and is not a disease itself”. For example:

•       For every 2 pound weight increase, the risk of developing arthritis rises 9-13%.
  
•         Women who gain 20 pounds or more between age 20 and midlife double their risk of postmenopausal breast cancer.
  
•    obesity is a preventable risk factor for coronary heart disease, and among

 However, the American Medical Association's 2013 say that the Obesity causes impairment, because the obesity does not permit the normal functioning of some aspect of the body, , because the obesity can impair normal mobility and range of motion in knees and hips and the obesity is also linked to reproductive impairment, contributing to sexual dysfunction in both sexes, infertility and risk of miscarriage in women, and lower sperm counts in men.

 

 

Therefore, according to the above, obesity is a disease, as it brings problems to the

health of the person, negatively affecting the person can develop normally in

their daily activities. Obesity limits the person who has it.

Diploma

In the future, I would like to carry out the diploma course of Environment and Territorial Planning in the Institute of Public Affairs of the Universidad de Chile, because I like this area and I would like to join the public Administration with the Environment. So, this diploma is perfect, It gives me the suitable  knowledge  to work in this area

.

  

 In addition, this diploma is e-learning.

 This diploma deals with:

·         Public discussion about this topic.

·         Naturals  phenomenon*

·         ->Conflicts associate to human activity on the means.

·         ->Climate change , with its change of temperature (very hot or very cold), strong precipitations*.

·         ->Real examples in the countries Where the territorial organization is applied in a rational and harmonious way with the natural environment.

·         ->Experiences and work in Chile about this topic.

You must be conscious that the natural resources are finite and you must have a vision of t

erritorial space management under a holistic concept and interdisciplinary approach. 







It is necessary to take care of these natural resources, that's why I will address the issue of working this with private and public services.

This diploma is aimed at professional that work in the public sector where for obligatory disposition ,she/he has to guide works about this topic.

 I would like too to study in  other countries like Mexico, Spain, Brasil or South Africa. I prefer to study in the modality in- person class or mix.

 

I AM A TEACHER

Well, when I was seven or nine years old I would have liked to be Teacher of Mathematics, because in that moment I had a good qualification in this area at School.

  

I imagine that I could be a good teacher of mathematics, that

I could teach very well. I really liked math a lot as a child and I thought

that the teachers in the university only had to study addition, subtraction,

division and multiplication haha. So easy.

This job is  indoors, because you have to work in a classroom, in a school, so it's a job that takes place between four walls most of the time.

I would like to travel a lot in my work, but the limit is not

whether I want to or not. Being a teacher, I would only limit myself to

traveling in vacations, because for teaching purposes it is not possible many

times.

Although I could travel to attend seminars, courses, etc. Where

I am the person who learns.

The salary for the teacher in Chile it is not very good, because if we consider that they give us the base knowledge  in almost twelve years of our lives.

Yes, I would like very much to have a second carrer. I liked would be able to study something about agriculture, either one carrer professional or technique, because I like a lot this area.

GET UP

 The interest change through in the years, for that reason my favorite song now is “get up” by singers, the soloist Lea Paci and the group Diva Faune.

            

 This song I found in the Spotify when I did listening to the singer Loîc Nottet with his song “Hungry Heart”.

I really liked very much the song “Get up”, because the melody in generally is so happy, the rhythm is perfect and I love especially when she sings in French.
The mix the voices in English and in French is very good, the musical tones of their voices is so perfect. that is to say, they, together create a      splendid, magnificent melody.

In addition, this song belongs to the musical style Pop.

Its lyrics is  about how with somebody you can complement without to be feel afraid to be  lovely, You only should feeling free without ties, to be happy and enjoy the simple moments.
that is to say, You must enjoy now, the present, because tomorrow maybe the something can Changes.

Well, with the song I don’t feel identify for this moment, although I could stay with the "enjoy without fear".

MY FAVOTIRE MOVIES

 My favorite movies are two:

* Seven souls (2008)

* shadowhunters: bone city (2013)

The movie "Seven Souls" will always be a great movie, because the protagonist (Will Smith) was a millionaire, but he is not happy (his family died in an accident). Then, he reported as a field agent of the Internal Revenue Service, he did so to be able to go to different houses and face difficult realities, because he was looking for people to help, without them knowing that.

Well, he helped people with problems (blind, domestic violence, heart problems, among others).
In the end of the movie, the protagonist realized something to helped the people with the problems that he selected.
 All the movie is very emotive, you can cry and you can feel sad, happy, etc.
you will like the movie you very much!

 The movie “shadowhunters: bone city”. I really loved this movie, because I read the saga of books and the movie is very similar (This is almost always rare).
 The movie is about one girl that discover she can look something, persons rares and the “normal people” cannot looking it. 

 The movie have a lot of magic, weird beings, a lot of mystery and more

THE BEST HOLIDAYS

 The best holidays ever of my life it was when my family and me went to the countryside in December, 2011.

 

 It was very beautiful, because a large river passed by the edge of the forest and the hill

 Those holidays lasted almost a week.

  I went to the country with my father, my mother, and my sister.  We camped at the foot of the hill.

Then we gathered with my cousins ​​and we played throwing poop cow and horse between us

hahaha.  

We also climbed the hill, we played, we ran, my uncles did make the barbecue.

At night we heard noises, there were some guys hunting at night on the hill, now it's funny the memory, because as with my cousins, ​​we were very scared at that moment.

It  was  the best vacations, because they were with many emotions, fright, terror, a lot of fun and only happiness.

 Those holidays united us as a family and reinforced that family bond.

Every time I remember that vacation, a smile comes to my face.

Cape Town !

I would like to visit South Africa, because It is a country very, very, beautiful and its cities too. It  has bigger landscapes,  mountains, rivers and it has a similar agriculture to Chile, I refer to the wine, fruits and  vegetales.

In particular, I really like Cape Town.

 The city is very beautiful, it has  beaches, it has vineyards, it has big parks, zoos and big mountains. its landscape is beautiful

Cape Town, is one of the most modern cities in South Africa. It has great universities and has a lot of history.

Cape Town was the birthplace of many leaders of the anti-apartheid movement and Since the end of apartheid.

Cape Town remains the stronghold of the political opposition to the ANC, being the only major city governed by the opposition

I would like to be able to visit and explore its hills, enjoy its beaches. I would also like to visit the vineyards, to know what agriculture is like there. That is, what is the production of the raw material like, what elements of the climate are taken into account, how the State supports them, etc

I would like to study there, even if it's just a course. All for going to visit that city someday.

HI! WELCOME TO MY BLOG

2018 :O !

I started with great enthusiasm the new year, eager to enter my second year at the university, with the feeling that every time I like more what I am studying and to be able to graduate later.

In the course of the year, good things happened as well as bad.

Among the bad things:

* They stole my cell phone, which is very sad for me, especially when I realized it was someone from the same university.

* I may not be able to approve the statistics course.

Those are the only bad things that can be seen so far, while the good ones:

* This weekend will be the birthday of my nephew and mine, I am very happy, because it is the best gift I could have received three years ago.

I love my nephew, I make me happy every day. I love to play with him, I like to see him happy, to see him laugh. It makes me immensely happy every time I said "aunt" ...

* I emphasize the friendship that I have with my friends at the university, we have been well united in this semester, because we complement each other very well, we support each other.

* Also, I highlight the many things that have happened in my favor, that although they are small things or coincidences, they have helped me a lot. Such as, without having the cell phone, and not knowing what time it.

My favorite subject

My favorite subject is Normative Framework for the administration of the State II, dealing with the subjects of law, specifically on the administrative statute.

I chose the teacher because friends had given me very good comments about him and his classes. In addition, I also chose it for the schedule, because there was another in the afternoon and it  would had been very heavy for me.

What I like most about the course is that the teacher, Mario Palma, is very good at teaching, explains the subject in a good way, it is easy to understand.

In addition, I like very much the branch of law itself, the fact of being able to see a situation in daily life and say "oh, we saw that in class", or "In that case you can apply such a thing" .

Now we are seeing the audits that are within the State Administration: I Can see that everything has an order, everything must be notified, everything must be written.

This is very important, so that there are no misappropriation or corruption within the State.

I like the subject, because they are training us in a good way, to be honest.

About the course, I would not change anything, in my opinion the course is excellent

PETS

I do not remember how old I was when I had my first pet ... when I was little (I still was not in basic school), I remember that I had a dog called "Choque", I loved it, it was big, beautiful one, with its small white legs and every time he saw me, he would stand up and hug me ... when he died, it was a very sad farewell.

 After time, one day outside my house there was a bitch, blonde, very pretty.
That day was with my sister, so I could play with the bitch all afternoon.
When it was dark and my mother came and I cried her, I begged my mother to let the bitch stay with me. she accepted / The bitch was called "Carlota", I do not know why .

 I loved her, she made me very happy, I enjoyed being with her, I think it was a very important part of my childhood.
When I was in my parents' bed, the bitch tried to climb it, but it was so small that I could not climb, so I put pillows on the floor so the bitch climp it.
 the bitch was hiding between my legs when my parents went up.

When I went to school in the morning, the bitch would accompany me to the bus and when I returned in the afternoon, I would call from the bus stop and she would run to meet me.

SPORT

The sport that I like is the Volleyball.

 I like the way in the that play it, the training the team, how to throw the ball, and I feel that when you play it there is not this rivalry: "I have to win yes or yes", only enjoy it.



 When we played it in the high school, this was funny, very funny. Always we laugh, beacuse we throw the ball, our hands are inflamed,  the ball was falled down in our face or we hit amog us when we try to hit the ball.



  I consider that the sports are very important socially, especially in the personal development, because they are very goob to develop ability physics in the person, work in team, improve live quality, it gives to you the biggest energy, vitality and it maintain us healthy.



 The sports are like game, where you can run, jump, etc. It is very attractive for the children, like this in the schools they are motivated to realize sports. The children become more sociable.

"CORAZONES RASGADOS"

I like horror, suspense, zombie and comedy movies. However, a film I would recommend would be a dramatic genre and it is "CORAZONES RASGADOS".

Its launch was in 1995 and, although it was 23 years ago, it is a great movie, because it shows us a reality that we do not know closely.

It is a movie that will always be in my mind.

  The film is about a woman (Jessica) who adopts a child of color (her skin color is relevant in the debates of the court, since her adoptive mother is white) that was abandoned by her biological mother in a container of trash, because she was a drug addict and could not stand the child. The child was later in an orphanage.

With time, the biological mother manages to rebuild her life and wants to recover her son.

It really is a film with a plot that reaches the heart, where we ask how to solve this case, with the laws involved and the feelings of the mothers and the child, it is a very difficult position that makes us reflect and take a position about this case .

I cried a lot since the judge's decision and the following scenes.

Finally, a decision is made that leaves our hearts calm.
